Telogen effluvium is a form of reversible hair loss that usually happens after stress, shock or illness. As is now commonly seen after recovery from COVID 19. It usually affects the top of the scalp most. TE is characterized by hair thinning or excessive hair shedding. It occurs more commonly in women and is triggered by disturbance of hair cycle.
