LLLT (Low Level Laser Therapy)

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is the latest technique utilized for men and women who are suffering from androgenetic or different types of alopecia, for example, diffuse and spot hair loss. It is also utilized, with great results, to improve hair growth after transplantation. Hair loss treatment with laser works by enhancing the blood flow in the scalp.

It is a safe procedure utilized to treat the hereditary types of baldness common in males and females, pattern balding and androgenetic alopecia. This method is also known as a red light treatment, soft laser, cold laser, biostimulation and photobiomodulation.

At some point in their lifetime, more than 70% of men (male pattern balding) and around 40% of women (female pattern balding) can get affected by Androgenetic alopecia. While males often give a specific alopecia pattern including the hairline retreat and vertex hair loss, females typically show a diffuse hair thinning at the top of their head. Whether it’s about males or females, losing hair is a disappointing experience for both genders.
