The word Hair transplant has been popularised in recent years and has been in demand since then. Lately, Hair transplant was scary as a healthy practice as the procedure involved cutting & stitching the skin. but from the past decade technologies have evolved drastically showing effective results with less invasive techniques of hair transplant.

To talk in detail, hair transplant is also known as hair restoration which is a medical procedure that uses micrografting technology to donate your own hair follicles to other areas of your scalp that are bald.

The results gained through hair transplant are considered to be long lasting and permanent. The procedure is time-consuming and takes time to heal from the surgery. People who suffer from hair- loss, patchy hair growth, or noticeable hair gaps opt for hair transplant treatment.

Is it permanent?

Once your hair follicles are implanted in the areas where the hair growth is thinning, it takes a certain amount of time to heal.

It can take around 6 to 12 months time to start showing results, the duration varies from person to person. But once the healing process is complete, the transplanted follicles begin to grow hair that will fill out the bald patches on your scalp. This is hair that will continue to grow naturally as you get older.

The implanted hair follicles and their transfer are binding and there is no way to return them to their primary position. But like the rest of your donor hair follicles, the transplanted ones are permanent. They will continue to grow naturally, as long as the donor area hair growth is there.
